Product Description

English Name 1 Axial Flow Pump for Low Lift, High Flow Conditions
English Name 2 Axial Flow Pump
Using Mining
Material high chromium alloy
Advantage Acid and alkali resistance, wear-resistant

The impeller of the axial flow pump is equipped with 2 to 7 blades, which rotate in the cylindrical pump casing. The pump casing on the upper part of the impeller is equipped with fixed guide vanes to eliminate the rotational motion of the liquid, turn it into an axial motion, and convert the kinetic energy of the rotational motion into pressure energy. Axial flow pumps are usually single-stage, and a few are made of two-stage. The flow range is very large, ranging from 1.8 million to 3.6 million cubic meters per hour; the lift is generally below 20 meters. Axial flow pumps are generally vertical, and the impeller is submerged under water, and there are also horizontal or inclined axial flow pumps. When the impeller of the small axial flow pump is installed above the water surface, it is necessary to use a vacuum pump to exhaust and divert water to start. The vanes of the axial flow pump are divided into two types: fixed and adjustable. The working conditions (mainly referring to the flow) of large axial flow pumps often need to be changed greatly during operation. Adjusting the installation angle of the blades can keep the pump running in the efficient area under different working conditions. The vane installation angle of small pumps is generally fixed. Axial flow pump is one of the highest specific revolutions among power pumps, with specific revolutions ranging from 500 to 1600. The flow-head, flow-shaft power characteristic curves of the pump are steeper in the small flow area, so operation in this unstable small flow area should be avoided. The axial power of the axial flow pump is the largest at zero flow, so the pump must first open the valve on the discharge line before starting to reduce the starting power. Axial flow pumps are mainly suitable for occasions with low head and large flow, such as irrigation, drainage, dock drainage, water level adjustment of canal locks, or as large circulating water pumps in power plants. Axial-flow pumps with higher lifts (double-stage if necessary) can be used for water-jet propulsion of shallow-water ships.
