Product Description

(1) Overall structure type of pump
The layout structure of the vacuum pump body determines the overall structure of the pump.
Vertical structure of the intake and exhaust port horizontal setting, assembly and connection pipeline are more convenient. However, the center of gravity of the pump is high, and the stability is poor at high speed, so this type is mostly used for small pumps.
The horizontal pump has the intake port on top and the exhaust port on the bottom. Sometimes in order to facilitate the installation and connection of the vacuum system pipeline, the exhaust port can be connected from the horizontal direction, that is, the inlet and exhaust directions are perpendicular to each other. At this time, the exhaust port can be opened from the left or right direction, in addition to one end of the exhaust pipe, the other end is blocked or connected to the bypass valve. This kind of pump structure has low center of gravity and good stability at high speed. Generally, large and medium-sized pumps use this structure.
The two rotor shafts of the pump are installed vertically with the horizontal plane. The assembly gap of this structure is easy to control, the rotor assembly is convenient, and the pump occupies a small area. However, the pump center of gravity is high and the gear disassembly is inconvenient, and the lubrication mechanism is relatively complex.
(2) Transmission mode of the pump
The two rotors of the vacuum pump operate relatively synchronously through a pair of high-precision gears. The drive shaft is connected to the motor through a coupling. There are mainly two kinds of transmission structure arrangement: one is that the motor and gear are placed on the same side of the rotor as shown in the figure. The driven rotor is driven directly by the motor end gear, so that the torsion deformation of the active rotor shaft is small, and the gap between the two rotors will not change due to the large torsion deformation of the drive shaft, so that the gap between the rotors is uniform during operation. The biggest disadvantages of this transmission mode are: a. there are three bearings on the drive shaft, which increases the processing and assembly difficulty of the pump, and the disassembly and adjustment of the gear are inconvenient; b. The overall structure is uneven, and the center of gravity of the pump is biased to the motor and the gearbox side.

Peculiarity
(1) There is a large pumping speed in a wide pressure range;

(3) there is no need for oil sealing and lubrication in the pump chamber, which can reduce the pollution of oil vapor on the vacuum system;
(4) There is no compression and no exhaust valve in the pump chamber. Simple and compact structure, insensitive to dust and water vapor in the pumped gas;
(5) The compression ratio is low, and the effect of hydrogen pumping is poor;
(6) The rotor surface is a curved cylinder with a more complex shape, which is difficult to process and check.

Whether the vibration generated by the vacuum pump during operation has an impact on the process and the environment. If the process does not allow, should choose non-vibration pump or take anti-vibration measures.
(2) Understand the composition of the gas being pumped, whether the gas contains condensable vapor, whether there is particulate dust, whether there is corrosion, etc. When selecting a vacuum pump, it is necessary to know the gas composition and select the corresponding pump for the pumped gas. If the gas contains vapor, particles, and corrosive gases, it should be considered to install auxiliary equipment on the pump inlet pipe, such as condenser, dust collector, etc.
(3) Under its working pressure, the vacuum pump should be able to discharge all the gas generated in the process of the vacuum equipment.
(4) Combine the vacuum pump correctly. Because the vacuum pump has selective pumping, sometimes a pump can not meet the pumping requirements, and several pumps need to be combined to supplement each other to meet the pumping requirements. If the titanium sublimation pump has a high pumping speed for hydrogen, but it cannot pump helium, and the three-pole sputtering ion pump (or the bipolar asymmetric cathode sputtering ion pump) has a certain pumping speed for argon, the combination of the two will make the vacuum device obtain a better vacuum degree. In addition, some vacuum pumps can not work at atmospheric pressure, need pre-vacuum; Some vacuum pump outlet pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure, the need for the front pump, so it is necessary to combine the pump to use.
(5) Requirements for oil pollution of vacuum equipment. If the equipment is strictly required to be oil-free, a variety of non-oil pumps should be selected, such as: water ring pumps, molecular sieve adsorption pumps, sputtering ion pumps, cryogenic pumps, etc. If the requirements are not strict, you can choose to have oil pumps, plus some anti-oil pollution measures, such as cooling traps, baffle plates, oil traps, etc., can also meet the clean vacuum requirements.
(6) Correctly select the working point of the vacuum pump. Each pump has a certain range of working pressure, such as: 2BV series water ring vacuum pump working pressure range 760mmHg~25mmHg (absolute pressure), in such a wide range of pressure, pump pumping speed changes with pressure (detailed changes refer to the performance curve of the pump), its stable working pressure range of 760~60mmHg. Therefore, the working point of the pump should be selected in this range is more appropriate, and it can not be allowed to work for a long time under 25~30mmHg.
How does the oil vapor discharged from the vacuum pump affect the environment? If the environment is not allowed to have pollution, you can choose an oil-free vacuum pump, or exhaust the oil vapor to the outside.
(8) The working pressure of the vacuum pump should meet the requirements of the limit vacuum and working pressure of the vacuum equipment. For example, a vacuum drying process requires a working vacuum of 10mmHg, and the limit vacuum of the selected vacuum pump should be at least 2mmHg, and it is best to reach 1mmHg. The ultimate vacuum degree of the pump is usually selected to be half to an order of magnitude higher than the working vacuum degree of the vacuum equipment.
Vacuum pump price, operation and maintenance costs.
Mechanical installation
(1) The vacuum pump should be installed in a firm place on the ground, and there should be sufficient room around it to facilitate inspection, maintenance and maintenance.
(2) The foundation of the vacuum pump base should be kept level. It is recommended that the four corners of the base be installed with shock absorbing rubber or poured with bolts to ensure the stable operation of the vacuum pump and small vibration.
(3) The connection pipe between the vacuum pump and the system should be sealed reliably, the metal pipe can be used to connect the sealing gasket of the small vacuum pump with oil-resistant rubber, the vacuum hose can be used to connect the small vacuum pump, the pipe diameter shall not be less than the suction caliber of the vacuum pump, and the pipe is required to be short and less elbow. (When welding the pipeline, remove the welding slag in the pipeline, and prohibit the welding slag from entering the vacuum pump chamber.)
(4) In the connection pipe, the user can install the valve and vacuum gauge above the vacuum pump inlet, and the limit pressure of the vacuum pump can be checked at any time.
(5) Connect the power supply according to the provisions of the motor label, and ground the wire and install the fuses and thermal relays of appropriate specifications.
When the vacuum pump is powered on for test run, the motor belt must be removed to confirm that the vacuum pump can be put into use in accordance with the specified direction to prevent the vacuum pump from reversing the oil injection. (Turn in the direction indicated by the shield)
For the vacuum pump with cooling water, connect the cooling water according to the regulations.
If the solenoid valve is installed at the vacuum pump port, the valve and the vacuum pump should operate at the same time.
