Structural features
A. SDS seawater desalination pump is a pump designed for seawater pressurization and seawater transportation

The hydraulic model is specially designed for seawater desalination pumps. Its performance curve is smooth, and the high-efficiency range is adapted to the use conditions of seawater desalination pumps; the optimal materials suitable for seawater pressurization and transportation are selected to ensure that the pump has good corrosion resistance and high-pressure resistance; special bearing lubrication and cooling forms are designed to meet the requirements of different environments; a special sealing structure is designed between the suction chamber and the pressure chamber to reduce leakage, improve transportation efficiency and reduce maintenance cycles; the low-pressure zone is set close to the shaft seal, so that the mechanical seal is in a low-pressure zone, and equipped with external clean flushing water to ensure the excellent operating environment and service life of the mechanical seal.
B. The SDS desalination pump has a compact and streamlined structure
The main components are: pump body, pump cover, impeller, main shaft, sleeve, sealing ring and bearing seat, coupling, etc. The unnecessary balancing device is reduced, making the pump structure more compact, reasonable and smaller.

The entire pump casing is mainly composed of the pump body and pump cover. The suction and discharge ports of the pump are located on both sides of the pump body, and its axis is perpendicular to the main shaft. There is no need to remove the motor and pipeline during maintenance, just open the pump cover, which is extremely convenient to operate.

The outlets of each pressure chamber are staggered 180 degrees and arranged symmetrically to balance the radial force; the impellers of each level are arranged axially symmetrically or back to back to balance the axial force; the main shaft is thickened by computer optimization and experimental verification; the keys of each impeller are arranged 180 degrees symmetrically to balance the radial deflection of the part; the rotor part adopts dynamic balancing test method to remove the unbalanced mass; the transmission parts adopt elastic pin coupling to balance the radial force caused by the transmission.

In addition to the material of the shaft is high-quality carbon steel, the rest are mostly made of cast iron. The pump body and the pump cover form the impeller workshop, and the inlet and outlet water flange is provided with a pipe screw hole for installing a vacuum gauge and a pressure gauge, and the lower part of the inlet and outlet water flange is provided with a pipe screw hole for discharging water. After static balance check, the impeller is fixed by the sleeve and the sleeve nuts on both sides, and its axial position can be adjusted by the sleeve nuts. The axial force of the impeller is balanced by the symmetrical arrangement of its blades, and there may be some remaining axial force borne by the bearings at the coaxial end. The pump shaft is supported by two single-row centripetal ball bearings, which are installed in the bearing body at both ends of the pump body and lubricated with butter. The double suction sealing ring is used to reduce the water leakage of the water pump pressure chamber back to the suction chamber. The pump is driven directly by the motor through a coupling. The shaft seal is a soft packing seal, in order to cool and lubricate the sealing cavity and prevent air from leaking into the pump, there is a water seal ring between the packing, and a small amount of high pressure water flows into the packing cavity through the water seal tube when the pump is working.
