Our Advantages
The slurry pump is primarily used for conveying slurry with particles, which makes it imperative for the pump to have high wear resistance. There are two types of wear-resistant materials currently available: high chromium alloy and wear-resistant rubber. However, what distinguishes these two materials?
High chromium alloy is a metal material that contains 26% to 27% chromium. Chromium is a metal element that possesses relatively high hardness, and hence, the level of chromium content determines the wear resistance of the material. However, it is a common misconception that the higher the chromium content, the better the material. As we all know, the higher the hardness, the more brittle it is, as is the case with glass. Therefore, the high chromium alloy material used in the overflow parts of the slurry pump is the best proportion after numerous tests, providing the perfect balance of wear resistance and toughness.
The wear-resistant rubber material is a rubber lining material that consists of a metal skeleton inside and an outer layer of wear-resistant rubber lining.
So, which of these two materials is better? Each has its advantages and disadvantages:
1. Rubber-lined pumps are lighter in weight and less expensive than high chromium alloy pumps.
2. Rubber lining pumps are suitable for conveying slurry without sharp particles. If there are sharp corners, it is easy to scratch the rubber, which will significantly reduce the service life.
3. Rubber-lined pumps have better corrosion resistance than high chromium.

Product Parameters
Slurry pump Impeller is a rotor, rotating component of a centrifugal pump. Front and rear shrouds have pump out vanes that reduce recirculation and seal contamination. Hard metal and molded elastomer impellers are completely interchangeable. Cast in impeller threads require no inserts or nuts. High efficiency and high head designs are also available. It increase or decrease the pressure and flow of fluid.When the slurry pump processing the solid mixture, the most worn parts are impellers. Impeller is the most important part of a pump. It is heart of a Slury Pump. Materials are BDA05, BDA49, BDA33, BDA61 Natural Rubber, Polyurethane...etc, to meet different working duty.
There are main three type of slurry pump impeller, Open, Semi-open and Closed. We have types of vane impellers, such as two vane impeller, three vane impeller, four vane impeller, five vane impeller and six vane impeller. Regarding the material: BODA can offer high chrome alloy impeller, rubber impeller, polyurethane impeller and ceramic impeller.
Slurry Pump volute Liner is a curved funnel increasing in area to the discharge port. It is often used with impeller pumps. As the area of the cross-section increases, the volute reduces the speed of the liquid and increases the pressure of the liquid. The main purposes of a volute casing is to help balance the hydraulic pressure on the shaft of the pump. Materials are BDA05, BDA49,BDA33, Natural Rubber , Polyurethane...etc, to meet different working duty.

Drive type of Centrifugal Slurry Pump:
DC Type: The output shaft of a motor is directly connected to the input shaft of a pump via a pump coupler. This type of connection is suitable for applications where the speed of the slurry pump is the same as that of the motor.
CV Type: The pump is driven by a belt connected to the crankshaft of the engine. This way of connection allows for saving space, easy installation, and fast adjustment of pumping speed. The motor is fixed to the motor support frame which is located on the bearing support above the slurry pump.
ZV Type: Another type of belt drive that allows easy adjustment of pumping speed. The motor is directly fixed to the bearing support. This way of installation is suitable for motors with larger horsepower than is possible with CV type of installation. Due to the installation of motor onto the bearing support, this method helps save installation space.
CR Type: This type of belt drive makes it easier to adjust pumping speed. The installation allows both the motor and slurry pump to be fixed to the ground. The motor is installed to the side of the pump. This installation method is suitable for large-power motors.
