The rubber impeller of a slurry pump is a pump component used to convey high - concentration mixtures of solid particles and liquids. Its main material is natural rubber. The rubber impeller has good abrasion resistance and corrosion resistance. II. Structural Features and Types

1. Component Parts

Generally, it consists of three parts: the hub, the blades, and the cover plates. The cover plates are divided into the front cover plate and the rear cover plate. The side of the impeller inlet is the front cover plate, and the other side is the rear cover plate.

Chloroprene Rubber (CR): Excellent weather resistance and ozone resistance, and its acid - alkali resistance is better than that of NBR. It can be used for slightly corrosive sewage or seawater.
Fluororubber (FKM): Resistant to strong acids (such as concentrated sulfuric acid), strong oxidants (such as nitric acid), and high temperatures (up to 200ºC), but the cost is relatively high. It is used for special corrosion conditions.
